Day Trip to Hells Canyon National Recreation Area
For families looking for a fun day trip, I highly recommend a visit to Hells Canyon National Recreation Area. Only an hour's drive from Hermiston, this stunning wilderness area offers a variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, camping, and whitewater rafting. It is also home to an abundance of wildlife, including bighorn sheep, deer, and black bears. Pack a lunch, and spend the day exploring this beautiful and rugged landscape.
