Welcome to Maryville, Missouri – a place my family and I are proud to call home. Tucked away in the rolling hills of Northwest Missouri, Maryville is a charming college town with a population of around 12,000. It is home to Northwest Missouri State University, which adds a lively energy to our small community. The Nodaway County Historical Society Museum showcases artifacts and exhibits from the region's past, including displays on the Pony Express and Native American tribes. For a more immersive experience, visit the nearby Missouri Town 1855, a living history museum that recreates a mid-19th century village. It's a great way to step back in time and learn about life in Missouri during the pioneer days.
