Tubman Museum
Opened in 1981 by local educator Linda P. Williams and named after Harriet Tubman, the museum has a mission to educate and inspire visitors by preserving and presenting the art, history, and culture of African Americans in Georgia and beyond. Visitors can explore the various galleries that cover themes such as music, literature, art, and the Civil Rights Movement, among others. The museum also hosts educational programs, events, and traveling exhibitions.
