Two favorite campgrounds are Crystal Lake Camp Grounds, which offers cabins for rent with fishing and trails nearby and Camp Williams Resort which offers campsites, a cafe, and general store. Other notable spots in the National Forest are Lewis Falls and the Bridge to Nowhere, an arch bridge that was built in 1936.
The River Wilderness Park is a stunning 2.5-mile out and back hiking trail in Azusa that includes a shaded picnic area and an overlook of the San Gabriel River. Another popular hiking destination is Fish Canyon Falls an 8.5-mile moderate level trail that features a waterfall.
