The Biggs Museum of American Art is one of the most famous museums in Delaware offering visitors a look at the cultural heritage of the area with displays of the finest Delaware-made furniture and silver and a great painting and sculpture collection that tracks the history of American representational art. 

Also check out the former Dover Opera House, originally built in 1904, this opera house has been renovated into the Schwartz Center for the Arts where visitors can enjoy ballets, classic films, and performances by the Dover Symphony Orchestra.
