Galesburg, Illinois is located in Knox County and is approximately 54 miles south of Davenport, Iowa and 48 miles northwest of Peoria. Take the family on a fun-filled tour of the Galesburg Railroad Museum. The museum is dedicated to gathering and preserving the history of the local railroad. Galesburg is also home to Railroad Days festival held on the fourth weekend of June and has been going strong since 1977.
