Livingston, California is located in Merced County and is approximately 10 miles south of Turlock and 15 miles north of Merced. The city is in the center of the agriculture industry and is one of the largest poultry producers in the western United States. Grapes are famed in the area as well with an enormous grape-pressing facility operated by E & J Gallo Winery. 

 Take the family to a popular attraction for locals and tourists alike at the McConnell State Recreation Area. The Park sits on the banks of the Merced River and is famous for fishing, specifically catfish, black bass, and perch.
