Take the family out to Seagull Bar State Natural Area for a fun-filled day outdoors. Here on this sand spit is the only true dune complex along Green Bay and offers tremendous, beautiful backdrop. The rich dune flora is a photographers dream come true. Other activities permitted are hiking, fishing, cross-country skiing, hunting, and trapping.
Another popular outdoors destination in the area is Stephson Island Park. Located in the middle of the Menominee River and connected via a footbridge. The island is home to the Marinette's Civil War memorial and also hosts the Sunset Concert Series during the summer.
