With over 4 miles of trails, visitors can immerse themselves in the diverse landscape of prairies, wetlands, and woodlands. It's perfect for a peaceful hike or a family picnic surrounded by nature. And for those interested in learning more, the Lyman Woods Interpretive Center offers educational programs and exhibits. Relaxing at the Community Gardens
If you're in need of some tranquility, look no further than the Downers Grove Community Gardens. This sprawling garden is filled with colorful flowers, aromatic herbs, and lush vegetables – all grown and maintained by local volunteers. This 395-acre park features a 1-mile loop trail around the picturesque Hidden Lake, perfect for a leisurely walk or a jog.
