Visitors can enjoy a stroll along the restored promenade and boardwalk that runs beside the shore from the Concord Point Lighthouse to the yacht basin and enjoy views of the bay. Concord Point Lighthouse, originally built in 1827, is one of the oldest lighthouses in continual use. Today, the Lighthouse has been fully restored and is open to visitors on weekends starting in April through October.
Susquehanna State Park offers visitors another great outdoors setting with 15 miles of trails, fishing opportunities, and the restored Rock Run Historic Area. The Rock Run Historic Area has a working gristmill, the Carter-Archer Mansion, and the remnants of the Susquehanna & Tidewater Canal. Steppingstone Museum is a great stop for some local history. The Museum highlights rural arts and crafts from late 1800’s to early 1900’s.
