For a family-friendly hike, I highly recommend the trail at Pine Bush Preserve. This unique ecosystem is not only beautiful but also serves as a sanctuary for various plant and animal species. You can also take a guided tour of the site to learn about the fascinating history of the Shakers and their way of life. End the day with Sunset at Henry Hudson Park
No visit to Latham is complete without catching a sunset at Henry Hudson Park. This expansive park offers stunning views of the Hudson River and is the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a day of outdoor adventures. Depending on the time of year, you might even be lucky enough to catch one of their outdoor concerts or events. And don't forget to snap a family photo with the breathtaking sunset as your backdrop.
